Styling tips Having shampooed your hair, ensure that it is rinsed properly as shampoo that is left in the hair will leave it looking dull. To maximise shine, rinse your hair in cool water when you have rinsed it thoroughly. To remove the styling plates Your Essentials straightener has plates that remove for easy cleaning. To remove the plates unclip the fitted plates from each heater section by pressing the release button. Always unplug the unit and allow to cool before removing or fitting the plates.
