Take a test strand and start low 120-130°C for fine hair, or 160-170°C for thick hair, this way as you build up in temperature you will find the minimum temperature your hair needs for low maintenance and low damage styling. Two strokes should be all you need, if you have to do more than this, try a higher setting on a new strand of hair. Always be careful not to allow the plates to come into contact with the skin. 2 Do not leave the plates in contact with the hair for more than a few seconds.
