Set alarm 2 1 Slide the alarm selector switch to the AL2 position. 2 Press and hold the ALARM set/off button and simultaneously hold down the FAST FORWARD button or SLOW REVERSE button. If set to AL1 or AL2 the alarm will operate at the preset alarm times.
Cancelling the alarm
The alarm is programmed to run for 59 minutes. 1 Press the SNOOZE button to stop the alarm temporarily, the alarm will repeat again in 7 minutes. 2 To cancel the alarm press the alarm set/off button. (The alarm will automatically activate 24 hours later). 3 If the alarm is no longer required slide the alarm selector switch to the OFF position. (The alarm indicator(s) will switch off).

Snooze function
You can press the SNOOZE button after the alarm has sounded which allows 7 minutes of snooze time. After 7 minutes the alarm will sound again. 1 When the alarm sounds press the SNOOZE button.
