The boiler needs to be refilled: Switch off the boiler heater by pressing the on/off button (2) If there is pressure in the boiler, the filler cap (1) will revolve but a safety feature prevents it from being unscrewed. Release any steam pressure in the system using the on/off switch (3) on machine and handle (12). Switch off the steam release button (3). Leave the product with the filler cap off for 10 minutes before filling. Refill the boiler using the funnel (Fig A). Use warm water to reduce heat up time Caution: Do not pour cold water into a very hot boiler as steam and hot water may be blown out of the filling hole and can scald!!!Start operation again (SEE OPERATION SECTION ABOVE) Switching the unit OFF Switch the unit off by means of switches (2) and (3). Remove the hose plug (7) from the unit by pressing the button, holding down the socket flap simultaneously. Any remaining water can be left inside the unit. To avoid deforming the brushes (16 & 23), ensure that the brushes are allowed to cool down before storing.
