The fact that this heat pad incorporates the overheat system does not absolve the user from observing these instructions. If the socket outlets in your home are not suitable for the plug supplied with this appliance, the plug should be removed and the appropriate one fitted. Heat levels 1 and 2 Will provide continuous steady warmth and can be used for longer periods of time up to a maximum of 3 hours. Heat levels 3 and 4 Will provide a higher level of heat and should be used for a shorter period of time. To avoid excessive heat exposure the heat pad will automatically reduce the temperature to less than 50°C after 90 minutes and will switch off completely after 3 hours. WARNING: This safety device prevents over exposure to excessive temperatures which can result in skin damage. Re-setting the heat pad timer If the heat pad is accidently switched off during the 90 minutes or 3 hour time period.
