[. . . ] Backlight -- Don't set the backlight for the display to be always on. Try turning it off completely, or setting it to two seconds. Volume -- Higher volumes draw more power. The rating for your player was determined using a volume of 15. Bitrate -- Higher bitrates draw more power than lower ones. Audio format -- WMAs use more processing power than MP3s. Standard headphones -- High-powered headphones use more power. Test the battery life with the standard ear buds or headphones that are included with your player.

Resume
Use the options in the Resume menu to set the track that the m25 will play whenever the unit is restarted. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Open MENU by pressing Thumbstick to Move Thumbstick to select Settings. Press Thumbstick again to select the Resume options. When the options are set as you want, press Thumbstick in. Press Forward (

Resume options include: · Track Set the player to begin playback of the last track played before shutdown or the first track in the running order when the player restarts. Settings include Current (the default setting) and First. Timecode Set the m25 to begin playback of the last track played either at the point in the track when shutdown occurred or at the start of the track. Settings include Current (the default setting) and Start.

Use the Display menu to adjust backlight and contrast settings. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Open MENU by pressing Thumbstick to Move Thumbstick to select Settings. Move Thumbstick to select between Backlight and Contrast options and Forward ( select options within Backlight and Contrast.
