Locked. Using Drafts When you save a message as a draft, it is saved in the drafts folder. You must have a draft saved to have a drafts folder. To edit a draft: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Drafts Folder. 3 To edit the fields you want to change, follow step 2 through step 4 in "Creating and Sending Messages" on page 48. Resending Messages To resend a message: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Text Outbox. 2 Scroll to the message you want to resend. -orPress the number of the message you want to resend. Select Resend. Using the Outbox Messages you have sent are stored in the outbox. These icons appear next to messages in the outbox: 4 9 0 5 6 50 Deleting Sent Messages To delete a sent message: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Text Outbox. 2 Scroll to the message you want to delete. 4 Press A under Yes to confirm. Sent and confirmed. Not received by addressee. Managing Memory To delete all unlocked sent messages: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Text Outbox. The outbox and drafts folder share memory space. If the outbox and drafts folder memory is full, you cannot send messages or save drafts until you delete some. To view the amount of memory available in your text inbox: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Text Inbox. To view the amount of memory available in your outbox and drafts folder: 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Text Outbox or Messages > Drafts. 2 Press A under Memory. Locking and Unlocking Sent Messages When you lock a message, it cannot be deleted until you unlock it. Locking or Unlocking a Message 1 From the main menu, select Messages > Text Outbox. 2 Scroll to the message you want to lock or unlock. 4 Select Lock or Unlock.
