Cautions about Using Earphones
Do not use earphones while riding a bicycle, motorcycle, or driving a vehicle. [. . . ] Volume goes down by turning the dial in a clockwise direction, and up by turning in a anti-clockwise direction. The baseline in Volume is always set as 15 for the user's safety.
Setting Lock Function
Once the Lock function is set, other buttons cannot
be operated until the Lock function is deactivated. switch located on the left side of the player to HOLD. The HOLD indication is shown in the display.

Playback of Messenger/Music (MESSENGER/MUSIC Mode)
Switch the POWER to ON. Press the Menu button once briefly and then Music Mode is shown. When using other modes, press the Stop button before pressing Menu button to select MESSENGER/MUSIC Mode.

Press the button again briefly to replay from the beginning of the current selected file.
Finding the Desired File
For a Fast Search for the desired part in the current file
Press the and buttons and hold to fast search a file. Press : Fast search backward.
Moving to Another File During Playback
Press the and the buttons briefly. Press Each press, moves you to the next file and playback. Press Press within 10 seconds after playback begins to play the beginning of the current file. Press 10 seconds after playback begins to move to the previous file and start playback.
Find and Playback Other Files in Stop Mode
While in the Stop/Pause position, press buttons briefly to move to the , next/previous file. (When the file name is shown in the display, select your desired file. ) Press button to start playback.
Caution when you playback music files While using a VBR file, pressing the button within 5 seconds after playback will not lead to the playback of previous song. While using a VBR file, the playback time of the player can be different from the real playing time. It refers to a MP3 file with different compression rates depending on song. Extension MP3 or MPEG1 LAYER1 files), and not real 35 MP3 (MPEG1 LAYER3), may not be played.
Voice Recording (Voice Recorder Mode)
Switch the POWER to on. When using other modes, press the STOP button before pressing the MENU button to select the Voice Recorder mode.
Voice Recording
In the Stop position, press the VOICE REC button. A red lamp lights up twice and voice recording begins. When recording, REC indication flashes in the display. While recording, press the VOICE REC button to pause. While paused, the REC indication does not flash in the display. Press the button to stop recording and create a new Voice file.

A Voice file can be played from a PC using a converter program provided by us. (Select START MENU PROGRAM MP-F777 VRF to WAV Converter. ) When the memory is full, recording is automatically stopped.
Finding the Desired Voice File
Fast Search or the Desired File During Playback

Setting the desired track to repeat
You can set the desired track to repeat during playback of Messenger/Music/Voice Recorder file.
Setting the beginning point to repeat
During the playback of a song (file), press ROTARY SWITCH at the beginning of the desired track to repeat. An Icon flashes in the display.
