This hardware will not be used with the bumper. On the left side of the engine, loosely attach the bumper with the two new screws, lockwashers and hex nuts provided in the kit (lockwashers go next to hex nuts). The screws can be installed in either direction, but facing downward is preferred, if room allows. CAUTION TO PREVENT INJURY FROM MOVING PARTS OR HOT SURFACES: • Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop. • Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug and allow the muffler to cool.
