Before each use
Also check: all protective features the engine-oil level (see the engine handbook) the fuel level the tyre pressure the side covering, accessory equipment, the area around the air filter for dirt and grass
Filling and checking the oil level
Note The engine is already filled with oil at the factory please check and where necessary, top it up. Fill the fuel tank to a maximum of 2 cm below the lower edge of the filler neck. The oil level must be between the "Full/Max. " and the "Add/Min. " markings (Figure 22). See also handbook for engine.
Check the tyre pressure
Note For manufacturing reasons, the tyre pressure can be higher than necessary. Correct where necessary (see section "Servicing"). front: 0. 7 bar rear: 0. 7 bar

Operating Instructions Insert axle into the required hole (High/Low). When inserting the rollers (3) and the spacer (4), push back onto the axle. Align axle (2) with the groove and push through the left holder. Note Always fit rear roller on both sides in the same position (High/Low). Turn the ignition key to until the engine is running (attempt to start the engine for max. 5 seconds, wait 10 seconds before attempting to start the engine again). When the engine is running, set the ignition key to /I/ . Return the accelerator lever until the engine runs smoothly.
Setting the steering wheel
Fig. Release the lever, and make sure that the steering wheel engages correctly.
Setting the cutting mechanism wheels (according to the model)
Fig. 14 The cutting mechanism wheels should be in the respective cutting mechanism setting, always between 612 mm above the ground. The cutter wheels are not designed to bear the loads generated by the cutters and may have to be offset accordingly.
Stopping the engine
Move the throttle to the middle position. Engage the locking brake before leaving the appliance.
Setting the rear rollers (if fitted)
Depending on the model, the rear rollers can be attached in two positions. 15 "High" position (upper hole): Standard position the grass is not rolled or only minimally. "Low" position (lower hole): Roll position the grass is also rolled after cutting. Remove safety split pin (1) from the left side. [. . . ] Raise the cutters to the top (medium height position) Carefully turn the outer cutters (risk of injury) parallel to the drive direction. Measure the distance between the ground and the end of the right cutter. The front end of the blade should be approx. 6. 3 mm lower than rear end of the blade. [. . . ]
