Rotate the control counterclockwise to dim the screen and clockwise to make the screen brighter. Adjusting the monitor 19 Horizontal size control Use the OSD control panel and the horizontal size icon to adjust the horizontal size of your screen. Horizontal size icon 1. Press MENU twice to bring up the OSD control panel. Press SELECT or until the horizontal size icon is highlighted. 3. Press ADJUST or to decrease or increase the horizontal size of the screen. Your eyes should look slightly downward when viewing the middle of the screen. T Position your monitor no closer than 12 inches and no further away than 28 inches from your eyes. The optimal distance is 18 inches. T Rest your eyes periodically by focusing on an object at least 20 feet away. Blink often.
