When the start time has elapsed, the programme starts automatically and the End Time is displayed. i Changes to the start time or an immediate start are possible. To do this: - Briefly set the programme selector to another programme. - When the programme selector has been reset to the original programme, individual or all other settings may have to be reselected. i If the programme sequence is changed by rotating the programme selector or the programme is cancelled, the preselected Time delay is also cancelled. The End Time of the newly selected programme appears in the display. The Time delay must be reselected (see also chapter Changing the programme, page 34 and Cancelling the programme, page 34). i The washing can be topped up at any time during the start time. Close the washing machine door. 31 Childproof lock You can secure your washing machine to prevent selected functions from being inadvertently changed. If the childproof lock has been selected: - No changes can be made while the programme is running, - the symbol G flashes if a programme setting is inadvertently changed, - should the appliance be switched off and on while a programme is running the programme will continue at the point at which it was interrupted, - the washing can be topped up while the start time is running. Activating the childproof lock q Set the programme selector to the required programme and, if required, select other settings. q Load the laundry and close the loading door. i Release the Start button. Hold down the Start button until the signal is emitted. i When the additional functions are switched on, a long signal is emitted; when the additional function is switched off, the signal is short.
