Lap time measurement is also possible in CHRON mode. The watch measures in 1/10 (0. 1) second increments for the first hour, and in one second increments thereafter. "Lap time" refers to an elapsed time required to cover a distance from the start to a given point. The chronograph and stopwatch must be stopped to reset.
