System Requirements
In addition to the requirements listed on page 2 of the Nikon Control Macintosh User's Manual, a CD-ROM drive will be needed to run the installer.
Software Installation
The following changes apply to section 2. 2 of the Nikon Control Macintosh User's Manual: Page 3 The installer CD does not need to be write-protected (locked). Page 4 Where the instructions direct you to insert the Install disk 1 into the floppy-disk drive, read "installer CD" for "Install disk 1" and "CDROM drive" for "floppy-disk drive. "

When the Continue. . . button is clicked, the Nikon Software License Agreement will be displayed (note that the terms of the agreement may differ depending on the country of sale).
Double-click one of the three Nikon Scan Installer icons to install Nikon Scan and Nikon Control in the language of your choice ("E" for English, "F" for French, or "G" for German). In addition to the Nikon Scan Installer, the Nikon Scan CD includes a trial version of Slides & Sound Plus, located in the InMedia folder. For more information on Slides & Sound Plus and associated software, view the readme file in the InMedia folder. Double-clicking the "Installer E" icon will bring up the following dialog.
The license agreement can be saved to disk or printed for future reference by clicking the Save As. . . [. . . ] Page 7 You will not be prompted to insert Install disk 2 into the floppy disk drive.
