The procedures are however the same for the COOLSCAN 9000ED. If you are performing an update on a COOLSCAN 9000ED scanner, read "COOLSCAN 9000ED" for "LS-2000" where appropriate. The version number shown in the message box is the version number of the firmware that will be written to the scanner by the update program. If more than one LS-2000 or COOLSCAN 9000ED is connected, another scanner will be selected in the main dialog and the updater will wait for input. Repeat the steps given above to perform additional updates. To exit the program, click Exit. -5- 2. 4 Errors and How to Deal with Them If either of the messages below is displayed during an update, follow the steps below. Try again.
