[. . . ] SWITCH OFF IN RESTRICTED AREAS Switch the device off when mobile phone use is not allowed or when it may cause interference or danger, for example, in aircraft, in hospitals or near medical equipment, fuel, chemicals, or blasting areas. [. . . ] When you open Nokia Drive for the first time, your phone asks if you want to download street maps for your current location and a navigation voice that matches your phone language settings. If you download the maps you need using your home Wi-Fi connection before your trip, you save on data costs while travelling. > Set destination, and search for your destination. Tap your destination and DRIVE TO > START. By default, the map rotates to your driving direction. To stop the navigation, tap See the map in full screen Tap the map. Save a place To help with your travel plans, you can search for places, such as hotels, attractions, or petrol stations, and save them to your phone. To search for a place, tap > Set destination > Search. Write search words, such as a street address or place name. Drive to a saved place > Set destination > Favourites and the place. Positioning methods Your phone shows your location on the map using GPS, GLONASS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, or network (Cell ID) based positioning. The availability, accuracy and completeness of the location info depend on, for example, your location, surroundings, and third party sources, and may be limited. The Assisted GPS (A-GPS) network service and other similar enhancements to GPS and Glonass retrieve location info using the cellular network, and assists in calculating your current location. A-GPS and other enhancements to GPS and GLONASS may require transferring small amounts of data over the cellular network. If you want to avoid data costs, for example when travelling, you can switch the mobile data connection off in your phone settings. Wi-Fi positioning improves positioning accuracy when satellite signals are not available, especially when you are indoors or between tall buildings. If you're in a place where the use of Wi-Fi is restricted, you can switch Wi-Fi off in your phone settings.
