Please purchase the appropriate interface cable for the interface you intend to use (Parallel, USB or Network). The USB interface option is not available on the B4550 printer. Follow the instructions in this guide for your operating system and interface.

Start Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive

Insert the CD-ROM into the CDROM drive. The opening screen will appear automatically.

Click the model number of your printer. Select the language you want.

Carton Components
Carton components may differ from one country to another. Do NOT connect the interface cable.

Connect the AC power cord to the printer, and then plug it into the AC outlet.

Turn the power switch on.

After the printer has finished warming up, the Ready LED stops blinking and stays lit.

Press the control panel button. Check that the test page printed correctly.
Continue to the reverse side.

Select the parallel interface cable. (B4550 users will not see this screen. )

Turn off the printer power switch.

Connect the interface cable to your PC, and then connect it to the printer.

Turn on the printer power switch.

Note: If "Add New Hardware Wizard" appears, click the Cancel button.

Note: When the "Add New Hardware Wizard" appears on your PC, click the Cancel button. Note: Make sure the USB interface cable is NOT connected to the printer, and then begin installing the driver. If you already connected the cable, remove it first.
