Windows 2000 (Parallel) 1. Unpack your printer and complete the hardware setup procedures. Insert the CD-ROM provided with your printer. Click Start Settings Printers Add Printer. The "Add Printer Wizard" appears. Select "Local Printer. " Verify that "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play Printer" is NOT selected. The "Select Printer Port" window appears. The "Locate File" screen appears. Browse to and click on your CD-ROM drive. "Install from disk" screen appears. Click Next.
