IF CORRECT FOCUS CANNOT BE OBTAINED (FOCUS LOCK)
When correct focus cannot be obtained on the subject you want to shoot, you can focus the camera on another point at roughly the same distance (focus lock) and take the picture as explained below. The camera turns on in the shooting mode. The lens extends and the monitor turns on. Position the AF target mark on the subject you want to focus on.
