When taking pictures of a night scene, this mode

RED-EYE REDUCING NIGHT SCENE FLASH MODE
You can take pictures of people with a night scene background while reducing
the "red-eye" phenomenon.
Notes: · Except for the pre-flashes, this mode is the same as the Night Scene Flash mode. · Read precautionary remarks in "Red-Eye Reducing Flash" (p. 32) and "Night Scene Flash" (p. · If the camera is turned off in this mode, the Red-Eye Reducing Flash mode will be engaged the next time the camera is turned on.

REPLACING THE DATE UNIT'S BATTERY
(QUARTZDATE model only) 1. Open the back cover and remove the cover of the
date unit's battery.
2. Align the direction of the new
battery as indicated on the
unit. Replace the cover of the date unit.
Be sure to adjust the date and time after changing the battery.

CARE AND STORAGE
