Thank you for buying the Underwater Case PT-E06 (hereinafter Case). Please read this instruction manual carefully and use the product safely and correctly. [. . . ] Refer to the UFL-2 instruction manual for the UFL-2 operation. CAUTION:

When using a non-Olympus manufacturer's slave-type flash with underwater optical fiber cable, set the camera's built-in flash to manual. If the camera's built-in flash ratio is more than 1/64, the camera's built-in flash light may reflect in the lens port and be taken into the picture.

Setting of the digital camera
1 Set the automatic pop-up setting of the camera to OFF. The camera's built-in flash is designed to pop up automatically when shooting under low light or against the sun in any scene mode other than the AUTO or underwater modes. For details on camera function setup, refer to the camera's instruction manual. 2 Switch the electronic flash ON before switching the camera ON. When using the electronic flash, be sure to turn it ON before turning the camera on. If the automatic pop-up setting of the camera is ON and the camera is set to the scene mode other than the AUTO or underwater modes, turning the camera ON before turning the electronic flash on would cause the camera's built-in flash to pop up automatically. Always be sure to turn the electronic flash ON before turning the camera ON. CAUTION:
· If the camera's built-in flash pops up while the hot shoe cable is connected to the camera, it will interfere with the hot shoe cable, either disconnecting it or causing a connection failure. · When using a slave-type underwater flash from a non-Olympus manufacturer, pop the camera's built-in flash up before loading it in the Case. · Once the Case has been sealed, the built-in flash cannot be popped up or stored.
