[. . . ] teletext Keys These keys are used to operate the main Teletext functions. Of course, your television must have Teletext capability. tEXT ON: MIX: Puts the television in the Teletext mode. Shows teletext and regular television simultaneously. [. . . ] Make sure your device is switched on (not on standby). Press and hold the MAGIC key until the red light (LED underneath the POWER) blinks twice. Enter the first (five-digit device code) according to your brand using the number keys. Now, aim the ONE FOR ALL at your device and press POWER to see if your device switches off. If your device switches off: proceed to step 5. If your device does not respond: Repeat step 3 and 4 within 10 seconds. If you do not enter a new code within 10 seconds you will need to repeat step 2 also. ATT: If none of the codes listed for your brand operate your device, or if your brand is not listed at all, try the search method described on page 6. Press MAGIC as soon as your device switches off to store the code. Please press and release MAGIC followed by CHANNEL+ to switch your TV back on. If your device does not respond or is not functioning properly with one of the codes, try another code listed under your brand. To differentiate between device types the first digit of every Television, LCD-TV or Plasma-TV code is "1" whilst the first digit of every Set-Top-Box, Digital Satellite, Cable Box or Freeview/DVB-T Box code is "2". --> If your device does not respond to the ONE FOR ALL after you have tried all the codes listed for your brand. --> If your brand is not listed at all. The Search Method allows you to scan through all the codes contained in the memory of the ONE FOR ALL. Example: to search for your Television code: 1 Switch your television on (not on standby). Press and hold the MAGIC key until the red light (LED underneath the POWER) blinks twice. In this example press 9 9 1 to search for your Television, LCD-TV, Plasma-TV. Now press CH+ over and over, until your Television turns off (every time you press the CH+ key the ONE FOR ALL will send out a POWER signal from the next code contained in the memory). You may have to press this key many times (up to 150 times) so please be patient. If you skip past a code, you can go to the previous code(s) by pressing the CH- key. Remember to keep pointing the ONE FOR ALL at your Television while pressing this key. [. . . ] Now, aim the ONE FOR ALL at your device and press POWER to see if your device switches off. /ONE FOR ALL warrants to the original purchaser that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and correct use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This product will be replaced free of charge if it has been proven to be defective within the one (1) year warranty period.
