Some pre-main amplifers are not supported. When operating the pre-main amplifer, point the remote controller at the amplifier's sensor.
Using the Remote Controller
Point the remote controller toward the remote control sensor, within the field shown in the drawing.
Approx. 5m (16 feet)
- Do not expose the remote control sensor to strong light, such as direct sunlight or inverted fluorescent light. - Using the unit near equipment that emits infrared beams or with another remote controller may cause malfunctions. - Make sure that the audio rack does not have colored glass, as this could prevent the remote controller from functioning properly. - The remote controller will not function if there are obstacles between it and the remote control sensor. - Do not place objects such as books on top of the remote controller. Doing so could depress the buttons on the remote continually and drain the batteries.
MUTING button When using this unit in combination with an Onkyo pre-main amplifer, temporarily lower the volume using the amplifier. Press it again to return to the previous volume.

Limitations on Playback of MP3 and WMA Files
- Use discs recorded using the ISO 9660 Level 1 or 2 file system, and the extended format (Joliet). [. . . ] If there is a risk of condensation, leave the unit for about an hour after turning on the power before use.

Turn off any special playback modes (e. g. Make sure that the disc isn't dirty. Make sure that the disc is placed in the disc tray properly, and that the track number you are specifying exists on the disc.
