Select Track: -- /12 38 ADVANCED OPERATIONS Bookmarks DVD-A This function lets you bookmark positions of a disc so you can quickly return to them at a later time. Press the BOOKMARK button on the remote control to show the bookmark selection box: 2. Press the ARROW buttons to highlight an unused bookmark position. When playback reaches the position you want to bookmark, press the SELECT button. The title, chapter/track and elapsed time will appear on the screen. You may continue to make more bookmarks or press the BOOKMARK button to exit the bookmark selection box. To recall a bookmarked position later, press the BOOKMARK button to show the bookmark selection box. Use the ARROW buttons to select the desired bookmark, and then press the SELECT or PLAY button to jump to the marked position. To clear an existing bookmark, show the bookmark selection box and highlight the bookmark to be cleared, and then press the RETURN button on the remote control. NOTE All bookmarks are cleared once the disc is ejected or the player is turned off. To memorize a playback position across disc ejection and power cycles, please use the "Memory and Automatic Resume" function. BOOKMARK SELECT ARROW RETURN PLAY Bookmark Press SELECT to mark current position. Memory and Automatic Resume POWER EJECT STOP PLAY 1. The DVD player automatically remembers the current position when playback is interrupted. Operations such as EJECT, STOP or turning POWER off will cause the DVD player to save the current playing position. The position is memorized even after turning off the unit or changing the disc. When the next time the disc with a memorized playing position is played back, the DVD player will recognize the saved playing position. Playback will automatically resume from the saved playing position. However if you wish to cancel the automatic resume and start playback from the beginning, you may press the STOP button when prompted. The DVD player can remember playback position for up to 5 discs. When the sixth disc is memorized, the oldest one is replaced.
