Adjusting the Projected Image
Adjusting the Image Height
The projector is equipped with an elevator foot to adjust the image height.
To raise or lower the image : 1. Turn the projector over and locate the elevator foot. Press to extend the foot so it may be the elevator button adjusted. While holding down the elevator button, adjust the foot to the desired height, then release the button to lock the elevator foot into position. Lower the projector so it rests on its foot; adjust as needed.

Installation
Adjusting the Projector's Zoom/Focus
You may adjust the zoom to zoom the lens in or out. Turn the zoom ring to zoom in or zoom out. To focus on the image, turn the focus ring until you see a clear image. The projector will focus at distances from 4. 6 to 39. 4 feet (1. 4 to 12. 0m).

Using the Remote Control Power
4 "Power" turns on the projector's lamp. Refer to the "Powering
On/Off the Projector" section on page 11~ 12 for more details.
Hide
4 "Hide" immediately turns the screen black. Press "Hide" again
to restore the displayed image.
Freeze
4 "Freeze" pauses the screen image, press "Freeze" again to unpause.
Re-Sync
4 Automatically synchronizes the projector with the input source.

4 Correct image distortion caused by tilting the projector.

4 Scale the image at a 4:3 aspect ratio.
16 : 9
4 Scale the image at a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Letterbox
4 Enable the viewing of a 2. 35:1 or 1. 85:1 movie without black
Image shift
bars at the left and right of the screen. Some of the original image will be lost from the up and down edges of the screen.

Mode
There are three factory presets optimized for various types of pictures: cinema, normal, and vivid. You can customize contrast, brightness, intensity, color, tint, sharpness, and gamma for each preset mode.
Contrast
Contrast controls the degree of difference between the lightest and darkest parts of the picture. Adjusting the contrast changes the amount of black and white in the image.
4 Press to decrease the contrast. Brightness
Adjust the brightness of the image.

to darken image. to lighten image.
Adjust a video image from black and white to fully saturated color.
The "Tint" sub menu is not supported under the Component Video or Analog RGB input sources.

Gamma
Gamma affects how dark scenery is displayed. [. . . ] First, follow the steps above to adjust resolution of the computer. Switch the Notebook PC display to the "external display only" or "CRT only" mode.
4 If you experience difficulty changing resolutions or your
monitor freezes, restart all equipment including the projector.
Problem: The screen of the Notebook or PowerBook computer is not displaying a presentation.
4 If you are using a Notebook PC:
Some Notebook PCs may deactivate their own screens when a second display device is in use. Each has a different way to be reactivated. Refer to your computer's documentation for detailed information.
Problem: Image is unstable or flickering
