To match the input image to the correct aspect ratio, six modes can be selected: 16:9, 4:3, Native, LBX, Format 1, Format 2. Default modes are 16:9, 4:3, Native and LBX. 4:3: This format is for 4x3 input sources not enhanced for Widescreen TV. 16:9: This format is for 16x9 input sources, like HDTV and DVD enhanced for Widescreen TV. ing. Other than these two occasions, one should stay with 16:9 and 4:3 modes for most viewing experiences. At this time, the exact aspect ratios for Format 1 and Format 2 have not been defined.
