Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] EZ Finder Reflex Sight TM #7075 The EZ FinderTM Reflex Sight is a fantastic device that makes pointing your telescope almost as easy as pointing your finger. Keep both eyes open when you look through the EZ Finder. You will see the image of a red dot projected at infinity, showing exactly where the telescope is aimed in the night sky. [. . . ] Loosen the adjustment wheel in the rear all the way until the body of the EZ Finder detaches. The resistor adjuster is the small yellow plastic piece in the middle of the inside of the finder. Turning the resistor clockwise will further dim the brightness of the dot, and turning it counterclockwise will brighten the dot. Alignment with the Telescope Alignment of the EZ Finder with the main optics of the telescope should be done during twilight hours before going out to view for the first time. Focus your telescope on a tree, telephone pole, or any object that is one-half mile away or further. Hopefully, the EZ Finder's dot will be close to the object you have focused in the telescope. The dot's position can be adjusted in both the left/right and the up/down axes. Left/right movement is controlled by the screw located above the battery; a clockwise turn will move the dot right. Up/down is controlled by a dial in the rear of the unit; a clockwise turn will move the dot lower. The EZ Finder has been mounted in its bracket so that the front end is higher than the back end. This has been done to allow up and down movement of the dot. Length Magnification Eye Relief Power Source 4. 6 inches (117mm) None Not applicable 2032 3v Lithium battery guide to align the bracket with the tube. If you plan to drill, mark the hole position and attach the finder with a nut and bolt combination. If you are using the double-sided tape, peel the backing from one side and adhere to the bracket, then align the back of the bracket to the edge of the paper. [. . . ] (Lithium batteries are available in many retail outlets. ) The battery is easily removed by sliding it forward from under the retaining clip. Place the new battery with the positive side (+) facing out and slide under the retaining clip.
