[. . . ] The eyepiece tube contains small tabs that act as guides for the grooves on the barrel of the FunScope eyepiece (see Figure 1). When inserting the eyepiece, make certain that the open end of the grooves at the bottom of the eyepiece are matched up with the tabs in the eyepiece tube as shown in Figure 2. When the grooves "catch" onto the tabs, twist the eyepiece clockwise into the eyepiece tube. Use a gentle twisting motion to insert the eyepiece, do not push it in. Note: If the eyepiece does not go into the eyepiece tube, DO NOT FORCE IT. Instead, take the eyepiece out, line the grooves with the tabs and try again.
