Using the EagleEye Monocular Hold the monocular up to one eye and look into the eyepiece (the end with the rubber eyeguard). Eyeguard The eyepiece features a rubber eyeguard to block stray light from interfering with the image you see in the monocular. If you wear eyeglasses or sunglasses, fold the eyeguard back to see the full field of view. Use caution when doing this to avoid touching the eyepiece lens with your fingers. Focusing To focus the EagleEye monocular, simply rotate the focuser barrel with one hand while holding the monocular steady with your other hand. There is a "rangefinder" imprinted on the barrel that will indicate at what distance the EagleEye is focusing. The closest focus possible for the EagleEye is 2. 3 feet. Care of the Monocular Keep the EagleEye Monocular in its case when not in use. The case can be threaded on a belt for convenient access to the monocular during play. A small amount of dust or a few specks on the eyepiece lens or objective (front) lens will not affect the performance of the monocular.
