[. . . ] Dial-up networking (DUN) is the feature that converts your smartphone into a wireless modem. To use DUN, you must set both your phone's and your computer's Bluetooth settings to On and form a trusted pair between your computer and your smartphone. You must have a data services plan with your wireless service provider to use your smartphone as a wireless modem for your computer.
