Organizing your tasks In the Tasks list, select one of these options: All: Displays all your tasks. Date: Displays tasks that are due in a specific time frame. With Date selected, press Down to select the pick list, and then press Center to see the various options: Due Today, Last 7 Days, Next 7 Days, or Past Due. Category: Displays tasks that are assigned to the selected category. Select the Category pick list to select a different category.
TIP
If you accidentally check off a task and need to uncheck it, highlight the task again and press Center on the 5-way to uncheck it. You can set Tasks to record the date that you completed a task, and you can select to show or hide completed tasks. Completed tasks remain in the memory of your smartphone until you purge them.

Deleting a task 1 Select the task you want to delete. 3 Select Delete Task from the Record menu. 4 Select OK.

2 Select Options, and then select Preferences. 3 Set any of the following preferences: Sort by: Indicates the order in which your tasks appear in the list. Show Completed Tasks: Displays tasks you've checked off. Record Completion Date: Replaces due date with the completion date when you complete (check off) the task. Show Due Dates: Displays task due dates and inserts an exclamation point (!) next to overdue tasks. Show Priorities: Displays the priority setting for each task. Show Categories: Displays the category for each task. Alarm Sound: Sets the sound for the alarms you assign to your tasks. 4 Select OK.
You can display your tasks in your calendar. See Customizing display options for your calendar for details.
DID YOU KNOW?
To save memory, you can purge all completed tasks. Select OK.
Customizing Tasks The Tasks Preferences screen enables you to control the appearance of the Tasks list screen. 1 In the Tasks list screen, press Menu .
