Handling
When Carrying the computer, be sure to keep to the following:
Turn off the computer. Remove all external devices, cables, PC Cards protruding from the computer (see figure A), SD memory cards, and MultiMedia Cards before transporting the computer. Close the display, and ensure that the latch ( page 10) is positioned correctly in the slot. Do not carry the computer by gripping the display or the cabinet around the display (see figure B). Do not drop or hit the computer against solid objects. When taking an airplane · Always carry your computer and disks, etc with you. · Before using the computer inside an airplane, we recommend asking the airlines regarding their policy on this issue. When switching to a different user with the Fast User Switching function, it may not be possible to set the display settings. In this case, log-off all users, and retry the operation.

Update Windows If you can connect to the Internet, perform Windows Update. This can help protect the computer against virus attacks. Windows Update enables you to update Windows on your computer by applying the latest patches and service packs for Windows. When Disposing of This Device
When disposing of or transferring ownership of this device, erase all data on the hard disk in order to prevent the theft of hard disk data.
