Types of menus
[Rec] Mode Menu This menu lets you set the aspect ratio, number of pixels and other aspects of the pictures you are recording. · [Photo Style], [Focus Mode], [Metering Mode], [i. Resolution], [i. Dynamic] and [Digital Zoom] are
common to both the [Rec] Mode menu and [Motion Picture] Mode menu. Changing these settings in one of these menus is reflected in other menu.

You can select effects to match the type of image you wish to record. You can adjust the colour and image quality of the effects. Set the compression rate at which the pictures are to be stored. This allows the sensitivity to light (ISO sensitivity) to be set. When the ISO sensitivity is set to [AUTO] or [ ], an optimal ISO sensitivity is set with the selected value as an upper limit. The ISO sensitivity settings values changes in steps of 1/3 EV or 1 EV. It will be possible to set ISO sensitivity up to [ISO12800]. Sets the focus and exposure automatically prioritising registered faces. If you set the name and birthday of your baby or pet in advance, you can record their name and age in months and years in the images. Sets [Focus Mode] according to the movement of the subject and the scene you are recording. Speeds up the focusing that takes place when you press the shutter button. Sets the light metering method for measuring brightness. Sets the manner in which the flash works. Automatically detects red-eye caused by the flash and corrects the image data accordingly.
