FAX : DA-FG320 (Fax Communication Board) Internet FAX Scanner PS Driver DDS Accounting : DA-NF320 (Internet Fax Module) : DA-NS320 (Network Scanner/Email Module) : DA-MC320 (Printer Controller Module (for Adobe® PostScript® 3TM)) : DA-WR10 (Panasonic Document Distribution System) : DA-WA10 (Accounting Software) *3 : DA-MC320 (Printer Controller Module (for Adobe® PostScript® 3TM)) is required if printing PDF file with Direct Printing System. 5 General Description PCL Printer Driver The PCL Printer Driver is required to send print data from a Windows computer to your machine. The properties window of the PCL Printer Driver can be used to specify print settings such as the print orientation and page size. The PCL Printer Driver also provides a range of easy-to-use layout functions that allow you to setup printing to suit your requirements. The PCL Printer Driver is the base software required to send print data to your machine as a network printer or local printer. Printer Driver The driver can also output data to a remote machine on the Internet using the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) (Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 only). NOTE The DP-C262/C322 supports both the PCL and PostScript (PS) printing. The Printer Contoroller Module (for Adobe® PostScript® 3TM) is required if using as a PostScript printing. 6 PS Printer Driver The PS Printer Driver is required to use your machine as a PostScript printer. The PS Printer Driver sends print data from a Macintosh or Windows computer to your machine in PostScript format. Required Options PS Driver The driver can also output data to a remote machine on the Internet using the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) (Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 only). 7 Printer Driver The PS Printer Driver is the base software required to send print data to your machine as a network printer or local printer in PostScript format. Direct Printing System The Direct Printing System software is used to output JPEG, TIFF or PDF files from a computer to your machine(s) directly using simple drag and drop operation. As the files are printed directly bypassing the Windows printer driver, the software does not only allow printing to be performed simply, it also gives the user access to functions such as Delivery Printing and Parallel Printing by selecting which machines to use. Drag and Drop Printing JPEG, TIFF or PDF files can be printed simply by dragging and dropping them on the Direct Printing System icon on the desktop. Drag and Drop Printing Software Delivery Printing By registering machines in the Direct Printing System, documents can be distributed to the machines in other departments via the network. Network Parallel Printing By registering machines in the Direct Printing System, documents can be printed to a number of the machines simultaneously. This makes printing faster when printing multiple copies of the same document. 8 Network Scanner (Communications Utility) The Communications Utility software uses devices connected to the network to scan documents and receives the scanned image data on a computer. Required Options Scanner The scanned image data is automatically sent to a specified computer. Scanning is performed by placing the document in the scanner and starting the scan from the device's operation panel. A message appears on your PC when image data is received. The received image data can be displayed on the computer screen. 9 Scanner & FAX Software Fax Driver The FAX Driver software is a simple way to send faxes. The software uses a device connected to a network to send faxes from the computer. Required Options FAX Internet FAX Documents created on the computer can be faxed through the device. Documents do not have to be printed before faxing. Scanner & FAX Software NOTE The FAX Driver provides a simple way for sending out faxes, however, Panafax Desktop is required if you want to receive faxes. 10 Panafax Desktop The Panafax Desktop software makes it possible for you to send and receive faxes on a computer by using devices connected to the network. Required Options FAX Internet FAX Scanner DDS The system administrator creates a "Routing Menu" on the server. Server The system distributes data received by a device to folders of specific clients in accordance with the distribution settings. The DDS system can use the following distribution processes to distribute data. - Web Folder Distribution - Panasonic-DMS Distribution - Email Distribution - Folder Distribution - FTP Distribution - FAX Distribution - Internet FAX Distribution Email Client Clients can view distributed documents by logging into a shared folder on the server. The system can send emails to notify clients when data is received. 19 Other Software Accounting Software The Accounting Software records and calculates the total usage of devices connected to the network.
