Why is this setup tool necessary?
After you install Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), Windows Server 2003 Service
Pack 1 (SP1), some network functions of the Panasonic software may not work. This problem
is solved by configuring the Windows Internet Connection Firewall, since it may be difficult for a general user. [. . . ] Click next to install the utility into the default installation folder. (Recommended) * Click "Browse" to change the installation location, and then click "next".

4. The [Windows Firewall Setting Tool] starts. Select "Enable Communications" then press "OK".
6. The confirmation dialog box will be displayed when the operation is completed. When the completion screen is displayed, click "Finish" to end the installation.

Uninstall Procedure To uninstall the "Windows Firewall Setting Tool" Open the "Add or Remove Programs" applet in the Windows Control Panel. Select "Windows Firewall Setting Tool" then click on the "Change/Remove" button to uninstall the tool. Note: Once the software has been uninstalled all Firewall exceptions will be removed.

How to use the Windows Firewall Setting Tool after installation 1. To use the [Windows Firewall Setting Tool]. Click on the Start menu then select "All Programs" -> "Panasonic" -> "Windows Firewall Setting Tool" then click on the "Windows Firewall Setting Tool" icon to start the tool.
