Dropping metal for example inside the camera could permanently damage the unit. · Never crush or pinch the camera cable. Do not bend the camera cable into a curve whose radius is too small. Caution: Connecting or disconnecting camera cable to/from the camera control unit must be done after turning OFF the DC power switch. Otherwise, the camera head may be damaged. · Whether the camera is in use or not, never face it toward the sun.
