∫ About recording formats and compatibility of the unit
≥ The unit is an MP4 format (MPEG-4 AVC file standard) Dual Camera for recording high-definition motion pictures. ≥ AVCHD and MPEG2 motion pictures are different formats, and are not therefore supported by the unit.
∫ Indemnity about recorded content
Panasonic does not accept any responsibility for damages directly or indirectly due to any type of problems that result in loss of recording or edited content, and does not guarantee any content if recording or editing does not work properly. Likewise, the above also applies in a case where any type of repair is made to the unit (including any other non-built-in memory related component).
∫ Handling of built-in memory
This unit is equipped with the built-in memory. When using this component, pay attention to the following points. [. . . ] ≥ In the case of still pictures recorded using face detection, the face detection data is not retained. ≥ The more a picture is enlarged, the more its quality deteriorates. ≥ The date and time of the recording of the original still picture are stored as the date and time of any picture stored after zooming.

Various playback functions
Changing the playback settings and playing back the slide show
≥ Set to Playback Mode. (l 38)

Select the file to start the slideshow with the thumbnail screen.
≥ Move the yellow frame over the file you want to start playing back as a slideshow. ≥ When the [CREATIVE CONTROL] (l 130) is set, it is possible to playback the slideshow of the files with filter effect applied.

Select the item to set using the SET button and press the SET button.
[MODE]: Select the type ([ALL]/[VIDEO]/[PICTURE]) of the file to play back. [SLIDES INTERVAL]*: Select the display interval for still picture playback. [EFFECT SETUP]*: Select the effects for still picture playback. [MUSIC SELECT]: Select the music for still picture playback. [VIDEO SOUND]: Select the music for motion picture playback. * These settings are only available when [ALL] or [PICTURE] has been selected in [MODE].

Select the type of file to play back using the SET button and press the SET button.
(On selecting [SLIDES INTERVAL])
Select an item using the SET button and press the SET button.
[SHORT]: [NORMAL]: [LONG]: approx. 15 seconds
(On selecting [EFFECT SETUP])
Select the desired effect using the SET button and press the SET button.
≥ [EFFECT SETUP] is disabled for the playback of panorama still pictures.
(On selecting [MUSIC SELECT])
Select the desired music using the SET button and press the SET button.
(On selecting [VIDEO SOUND])
Select an item using the SET button and press the SET button.
[RECORD]: [BGM]: Playback the sound recorded during motion picture recording. Playback the music selected in [MUSIC SELECT].
≥ Scenes recorded with [CREATIVE CONTROL] set to MINI (Miniature Effect (MINI)) or INTV (Time Lapse Rec (INTV)) and scenes recorded in Slow Motion Mode ( HX-WA30 only) are played back with the music selected in [MUSIC SELECT] regardless of the [VIDEO SOUND] setting.

≥ During panorama still picture playback, the playback automatically scrolls in the same direction as when the recording was made.

Playing back with a filter effect
You can add various types of filter effects when recording motion pictures and still pictures and play them back. (l 38) 1 Select the file to add the filter effects with the thumbnail screen. [MENU]:

≥ HX-WA3 You can also display the [CREATIVE CONTROL] menu by pressing the button. (l 19) (OFF): Cancel the setting.
1CLR (One Point Colour (1CLR)): Playback in black and white while keeping one selected colour. (l 84) OLD (Old Movie (OLD)): Playback motion pictures with a retro feel. FISH (Fish-eye Effect (FISH))*: Playback motion pictures as if recorded through a fish-eye lens. SKIN (Soft Skin (SKIN)): Playback with skin softening effects. B/W (Monochrome (B/W)): Playback in monochrome. SEPIA (Sepia (SEPIA)): Playback with colours adjusted to sepia. VIVID (Vivid (VIVID)): Playback with reduced sharpness and increased colour. SOFT (Soft (SOFT)): Playback with reduced sharpness for a softer image.
* Disabled during panorama playback of still pictures.
