Caller ID and SMS Services, where available, are network provider services. After subscribing to Caller ID, this phone will display the caller's phone number.

You can display message saved in date/time order. To exit the operation, press at any time.

When you send to the same destination, press JOYSTICK then follow steps from 7 of Writing and Sending a New Message (p. 51). OR Press and hold then follow steps from 6 of Writing and Sending a New Message (p. 50 to 51).
Receiving a Text Message
When a message has been received, cordless handset display will show the following and a tone will sound. A tone will not sound if the ringer volume setting of the cordless handset is OFF. The base unit display will show only "Receiving New SMS". Example: Handset Display

The number indicates how many mails were received. When the SMS message memory is full, "Full" is displayed. No messages can be received if the memory is full.

Go to step 7 on pages 57 and 58. If there is a " " icon placed against the time, this means the message has been read or displayed previously. It also indicates the other registered cordless handset user have already viewed the message. If the list is accessed and no messages have been received, "Receive List Memory Empty" is displayed. Some SMS service providers may attach a 1-digit number to the sender's phone number, the name will not be displayed even if the name and number have been stored in the phonebook.
