For Optional Multi-Handset Users
Operating More than One Handset
You can register and operate up to 6 handsets in the base unit. Operating more than one handset allows you to have an internal call while simultaneously conducting an external phone call with another handset. Example: Handset 1 is engaged in an internal call with handset 3. Handset 2 is engaged in an external call. The diagram below shows the layout of a base unit with 6 handsets. Each additional handset must be registered in the base unit (p. 48).
