Operating tips
Using the navigator key
The handset navigator key can be used to navigate through menus and to select items shown on the display by pressing {^}, {V}, {<}, or {>}. To adjust the receiver or speaker volume, press {^} to increase the volume, or press {V} to decrease the volume repeatedly while talking.

Quick troubleshooting
1 Handset shows:
"No link to base. Reconnect AC adaptor. " Place the handset on the base unit, then check if "Charging" is displayed.
"Charging" is not displayed. "Charging" is displayed, now.
"Charging" is displayed.
Unplug and then plug AC adaptor properly to both the base unit and AC outlet. "Charging" is still not displayed.
Lift the handset, then try again. [. . . ] Your telephone may need service when only back speaker provides a dial tone.
Try to connect your telephone into a different line.

Registering a handset to a base unit
The supplied handset and base unit are pre-registered. If for some reason the handset is not registered to the base unit, register the handset.
