Handle electrical cord with caution and disconnect power before replacing a light bulb. Use this appliance in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations. The use of an extension cord is not suggested. Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used: 1) The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; 2) The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord; and 3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over counter tops, tabletops, etc. , where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally. "Warning " or "Danger" : Risk of child entrapment. Before you throw away your old refrigerator or freezer: Take off the doors. Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside. Make sure all washed surfaces are wiped dry. Check the filter occasionally and if clogged with dust, clean it with vacuum cleaner or wash it with water. (Dust clogged filter will result in insufficient cooling performance. ) To clean filter (1) Unplug AC cord. (3) Clean dust with vacuum cleaner or wash filter with neutral detergent. (Make sure the stamped word "FACE" is upward. ) General notes 1. Internal fan will continue to operate as long as the appliance is plugged into power outlet and regardless of whether the door is open or not.
