If these are wider than a standard 16:9 aspect picture then a black band may be visible at the top and bottom of the screen. WIDE "WIDE" appears in the top left of the screen, Panasonic Auto switches to the appropriate 16:9 or 14:9 widescreen ratio. Panasonic Auto "Panasonic Auto" appears in the top left of the screen.
