To clear the timer programming screen Press [MENU]. Auto SP/EP change The unit switches tape speed to EP if it determines there is not enough tape to record the entire program in SP mode. The change may start at the beginning of the recording or part way through, depending on the remaining tape. Before using this function, set the length of the tape you are using ( page 40). It may not work correctly if you use tapes with irregular lengths. The list does not appear when playing tapes recorded on other equipment. Parts of the list data are recorded on the tape. Take care when recording over older recordings that you do not overlap it. It is recorded within a few minutes either side of the beginning of the recording (longer if you used EP or VP). To demonstrate the Jet navigator function Keep [NAVI] pressed for more than 5 seconds without inserting a cassette tape.
