The channel, date, and time of a recording appear on the television when play starts. To clear the Jet Navigator list Press [MENU].
Jet Navigator
This unit can display a list of the recorded programs on the inserted tape on the TV screen. You can then select the desired program, and this unit will quickly reach its beginning and start playback.
To delete the Jet Navigator on a video cassette tape
Keep [CANCEL] pressed for more than 5 seconds while the Jet Navigator list appears. "- -" appears on the list.
Saving Jet Navigator data
The unit can save the data for up to 14 recordings on a tape, for 20 different tapes, and for a total of 50 recordings.
To delete all the Jet Navigator data stored in the unit's memory (l 38).

Press [MENU] to display the "VHS MENU" screen. Press [3 4] to select "OPTION" menu and press [ENTER]. Press [3 4] to select "JET NAVIGATOR" and press [2 1] to change the setting to "ON".

To exit the settings screen Press [MENU] until the screen disappears.
[Remember] Press [VHS] first.
Setting categories
Set categories to make it easier to see what kind of programs are in the list.

Press [1] (cursor) while the program you want to categorize is highlighted. Press [3 4 2 1] to select a category and press [MENU] to confirm and return to the previous screen.

Channel display Displays the cable television channel or television channel currently being received. STEREO/SAP indication Indicates when a program is broadcast in stereo or SAP.
