The resume function is canceled (play starts from the first track) if you open the lid when the unit is stop mode. It is also usually canceled when you replace the CD while the unit is in stop mode. The resume function may work if you replace the CD while the unit is off. If you turned the unit off near the end of the track, play may resume from the beginning of the next track. Turn off this unit and the other equipment before connection. Do not connect the cable to the PHONO jacks on the amplifier. Obtain the optional connecting cable if the other equipment comes with mini-phone jacks. Set the unit's volume to 10, then adjust the volume level on the other equipment.
