[. . . ] Side Bar (Off, Dark, Mid, Bright) Displaying a picture in 4:3 mode for an extended period may cause an after-image. Change the brightness of the side bars to prevent the after-image. Notes: · Setting the side bar to Bright for an extended period may cause an after-image. · The side bar may flash (alternate black/white) depending on the picture. In such a case, set Pic Mode to Cinema (see page 26). Power Save (Off or On) Supress the luminous level of the TV to reduce power consumption. CableCARD This menu provides information when a CableCARD is inserted into the CABLE CARD slot (see page 13). Notes: · If CableCARD is not inserted and you access the CableCARD Info, the message "Cable Module Not present" appears. · To receive the features offered by your cable company, you may have to subscribe to those services. Contact your cable company regarding availability of the CableCARD. The CableCARD is required receive premium digital services (where available) through the cable input. You may also be able to order call-ahead pay per view events. 41 Menu Navigation Lock Press to select the menu. CH VOL OK VOL CH Press to display the sub-menu. CH · Off · Lock All · Game Lock · Channel Lock : Turns off Lock set functions. : All channels are locked regardless of the rating level. : Locks out specific analog and digital channels. Password is required to view any of the locked channels. 42 Menu Navigation Channel Lock RF Input Select either Antenna (A) or Antenna (B). Block Program This television incorporates V-CHIP technology to block the viewing of movies and television programs according to the rating category. There are two (2) Content Advisory Categories: MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) and TV Parental Guidelines Ratings. These categories are used as guidelines for blocking the programs.
