The SERIAL terminal conforms to the RS-232C interface specification, so that the Plasma Display can be controlled by a computer which is connected to this terminal. The computer will require software which allows the sending and receiving of control data which satisfies the conditions given below. Use a computer application such as programming language software. Press this button to turn the Plasma Display On, from Stanby mode. Press it again to turn the Plasma Display to Stanby mode. SURROUND Button The benefits of surround sound are enormous. You can be completely enveloped in sound; just as if you were at a concert hall or cinema. On Off The surround setting switches on and off each time the Surround On SURROUND button is pressed. Note: The surround settings are stored separately for each Sound mode (Normal, Auto).
