The SERIAL terminal conforms to the RS-232C interface specification, so that the Plasma Display can be controlled by a computer which is connected to this terminal. The computer will require software which allows the sending and receiving of control data which satisfies the conditions given below. Use a computer application such as a programming language to software. Refer to the documentation for the computer application for details. Normal Sound No Picture No Sound Some parts of the screen do not light up Do not allow a still picture or any part of a still picture i. e. edges to be displayed for an extended period, as this can cause a permanent after-image to remain on the High Definition Plasma Display.
