Avoid locations surrounded by metal surfaces. Keep the base station and handset away from excessive heat and humidity, and from sources of electrical noise (motors, transformers, fluorescent lighting, or computers). Mount the base station and your key telephone at least three to four feet apart to avoid noise from the key telephone speaker.
