When [ALL] is selected, the selected playlist will be deleted. You can also delete playlist scenes by the menu. Deleting scenes on a playlist will not increase the remaining capacity for recording. The playlist itself is deleted if you delete all the scenes in it. When a playlist is deleted, the number of each subsequent playlist decreases by one.

Moving scenes within a playlist
It is possible to change the sequence of scenes in the playlist by moving them to another position.

Select the menu. (l 26) [EDIT] # [MOVE] # [YES] Select the scene to be moved, then press the joystick.
The selected scene is encircled by a red frame, and the position to insert is shown by a yellow bar.

Select the position to insert the scene, then press the joystick.
To continue moving other scenes in the playlist Repeat steps 2 to 3. To complete editing Press the MENU button.
Dividing a scene
This is for dividing a scene into two.
Select the menu. (l 26) [EDIT] # [DIVIDE] # [YES]

Combining scenes
This function is only for combining two consecutive scenes into one.
Select the menu. (l 26) [EDIT] # [COMBINE] # [YES]

This is for preventing still picture files from being deleted by mistake. (However even if you lock some files on an SD card, formatting the card will delete all the files. )

Select the menu. (l 26) [PHOTO SETUP] # [LOCK SET] # [YES] Select the file to be protected, then press the joystick.
[ ] appears and the selected file is locked. Press the joystick again to release the lock setting. You can also select multiple files in succession. To complete the settings Press the MENU button.

DPOF setting
This is for writing the print data on selected still pictures. DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) is a format which allows the user of a digital camera to define which captured images on the SD card are to be printed, together with information on the number of copies they wish to print. (Please note: Not all commercial printing services support this feature at this time. )

To cancel the setting, set the number of prints to [0]. [. . . ] Recording distant and close-up objects at the same time Since the unit focuses on whatever is at the centre of the screen, it is difficult to bring the background into focus when close-up objects are placed in focus. When recording people with distant mountains in the background, you cannot focus on both the subject which is close-up and the objects which are in the distance.
